Yeah ok. Well it just sounded quite insulting. But never mind then. I've actually been thinking of removing some of my old walls because it is kinda embarrassing. I mean i do wall a whole lot better than i used to years ago. So maybe i'll remove some of my old ones and maybe...yes maybe i'll redo it.

Making a wall is definitely not simple. It takes a lot of practice and most importantly patience. First you should get yourself an image editing program. I recommend photoshop. It does'nt really matter which version but i like to use photoshop CS2. Next step is for you to find a scan to use and just experiment with it using all the tools in photoshop. You can search for some tutorials on the web to help you with extracting and vectoring. But that's pretty much all you can get. The rest is up to your creativity. Your first wall will suck at some point (as you can see with mines) so just learn to live with it, and continue practicing till you get it right. That's about all i can tell you. =/

Hey dude i appreciate your comment on my Saiyuki wallpaper "saiyuki in the sub-urbs". I totally understand that it's not perfect. But who cares about the title. The wallpaper is more important. What i mean is, when you place it on your desktop, does the title even appear or anything? Of course not. All you see is the wallpaper itself. I admit that it's not exactly a nice wall either. But it's surely not lame. That was one of my very first vector work. Hence far from perfect. But fyi, i've improved a lot now. You can come check out my latest wallpapers to see for yourself. And the fact that im ranked as top 100 wallers and also being a senior member here proves that.

So before you start commenting on people's walls, please consider saying it in a better way. I've seen many lame walls, but i've learnt to comment on it nicely without being rude while also pointing out it's flaws. =P
